Welcome Back Message for 1st June from Mrs O'Dwyer

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the beautiful weather with your loved ones.

This week we have been busy getting school ready for the start of the new term and are looking forward to welcoming more of our pupils back into school on Monday.

I have uploaded four video links for you to share at home with your child in preparation for starting the new term. Each video briefly explains entry and exit routes, school and classroom layouts and a video about the lunchtime and playtime arrangements.  The videos are available using the following link: https://osoprimary.primarysite.media/

I have also uploaded an updated School Risk Assessment which has been Quality Assured by the Local Authority and two addendum policies for Behaviour and Child Protection and Safeguarding these are available using the following link: https://www.osoprimary.co.uk/coronavirus-updates/

As the weather is expected to be sunny and very warm next week, please can you apply sun cream before attending school and add a bottle to your child's bag, so that they can apply prior to lunchtime. It is also very important that your chid brings a named water bottle and a healthy snack to have at morning break.

Please excuse the amateur videos and voice over. I hope these help your child visualise how school will look from Monday and reassure you, that all safety measures have been put in place.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call school and we will respond as soon as possible.

Take care and God Bless,

Mrs Nikki O'Dwyer
