  • HILL FORT HEARTS

Thu 09 Feb 2017 Jan Edmondson

This week all our children have been decorating and adding their own messages to big red hearts.   These are going to be included in a 1km chain of hearts to be draped around Oswestry's ancient Hill Fort.

Mrs O'Dwyer said:  "Our local history is so important at school we encourage the children to learn about it and appreciate it.   We are so fortunate to be living in such a lovely area and feel passionate about its rurality and its history."

Today Jac Williams, Annabelle Haralambous, Marnie Shelston, Lily Cosgrove and Bunty Patil joined Mrs O'Dwyer in the playground to show off just a few of the 130 hearts that will be added to the chain.

  • THE CONTINUING ADVENTURES OF EDDIE THE ELF

    Thu 15 Dec 2016 J Edmondson

Eddie has been getting very excited.   He really wanted to be an Angel in Key Stage 1's Christmas Play.

We've also been very impressed with the homework he has been doing, his writing is getting much better - maybe some of it is 'elf-taught?

Eddie was a bit sad the other day, he was feeling cold and really wants the weather to warm and dry up so he can play out in the holidays.

  • EDDIE THE ELF

    Fri 09 Dec 2016 J Edmondson

Children in St Bernadette's Class have a new friend.  Eddie the Elf has been appearing in a number of places to surprise the children.  The photographs below show some of his adventures.

It will be interesting to see what he discovers about school and where he "pops" up next week!!!
