  • APPOINTMENT OF PARENT GOVERNOR

    Following the recent elections, Mrs Maeve Gambrell has been appointed as one of our Parent Governors and she was introduced to other members of the Governing Body at last week's meeting.   I will be writing to parents after the half term holiday.

  • MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

    Don't forget to come along to our fundraising coffee morning in aid of Macmillan.   Year 6 are organising this and hope as many of you as possible will visit us.    We would also be grateful for any donations of cakes for this event.     Thank you.

  • NEPAL FUNDRAISING - 22 May 2015

    We would like to contribute towards the help being given to the people of Nepal who have suffered so much as a result of the recent earthquakes.  We will be holding an OWN CLOTHES DAY on Friday May 22nd when children may wear non-uniform clothes all we ask is that where possible they bring a donation of £1 towards this much needed relief effort.

    Year 4 have arrived safely and are settling in..  The weather is good and they are currently eating lunch ahead of an afternoon of activity and fun.      (21.05.15  1.15pm)

    A big thank you to everyone who is helping in the gardens.   The children have been taking it in turns to come out and work in Mary's Garden as well as planting spaces near the school field, for example the beans in the tyres. Very shortly they will be planting sun flowers.
    If you have any spare time and would like to help please contact Mrs Rothera or Mrs Edmondson - the more the merrier.

  • ST MARTINS CLASS TRIP TO LIVERPOOL MUSEUM - Fri 20 Mar 2015

    St Martins Class are visiting Liverpool Museum on Friday March 20th.   The bus will be leaving school at 8.30am so children should arrive at school by 8.15am.   The bus will return to school for approximately 4pm.
