Our PTFA

Together for Our Children

Our Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA), also known as the Friends of Our Lady’s, brings families, staff and friends of Our Lady & St Oswald’s together to support our children and celebrate our school community.

Through fundraising and family events, our volunteers help provide resources and experiences that enrich school life and create lasting memories. Their generosity puts our school values into action through friendship, service and care for others.

Whether you are new to the school or have been part of our community for years, you are warmly welcome to get involved.

Making a Difference

The money raised by our PTFA directly benefits our school and its pupils. Previous contributions have supported:

Coach transport for school trips.
Whole-school visits to the Christmas pantomime.
Early Years outdoor learning resources and Forest School provision.
Books and play equipment.

Every contribution helps us offer children more opportunities to explore, learn and enjoy life together.

Bringing Our Community Together

PTFA events give families opportunities to meet, make friends and have fun while supporting the school. Activities have included Christmas and summer fayres, school discos, quizzes, family fun nights, competitions, and cake, plant and book sales.

There Is a Place for Everyone

There are many ways to help, whether you can offer occasional support or would like to become more involved. You could:

Come along to a meeting and share your ideas.
Help prepare for an event or lend a hand on the day.
Offer a skill, useful contact or fundraising suggestion.
Support events and encourage other families to join in.

You do not need to join the committee to make a difference. Whatever time you can offer is appreciated, and getting involved is a lovely way to meet other families and feel connected to school life.
